Child Welfare Services stakeholders from across the state of California will come together to review the progress that we have made since the first federal Child and Family Services Review (CFSR) and to provide their perspectives on where we have come to and where we still need to go in order to effectively meet our children's and families need for safety, permanence and well-being. The information gathered at this Convening will inform the Statewide Self-Assessment, which is the first major stage in the 2008 Child and Family Services Review.
