Workshop 7: Managing Organizational Change to Implement & Sustain Initiatives in a Public Agency
Explore why an organizational assessment and planning process is important prior to implementing any initiative. Participants will discuss the guiding principles of organizational development when embarking on a project and how to manage change within the organization to implement and sustain the initiative.

Contra Costa and Ventura counties will describe how they have implemented AB 429 and the interface with Linkages.

Workshop 9: CalWORKs SDM
The Children’s Research Center along with San Luis Obispo and Orange counties will describe a program they have been implementing that seeks to identify CalWORKs recipients who are at high risk of becoming involved in the child welfare system, and targeting prevention services to them to reduce the likelihood of child maltreatment and increase achievement of self-sufficiency.

Leslie Ann Hay, Linkages Project Associate will present models for engaging families in case planning and will be joined by Stanislaus and Tulare counties in presenting their inclusive planning model.

Workshop 14: Effective Supervision in a Coordinated Service Environment
Debbie Yip, Director RCFFP will share ways to approach supervision when staff are from different programs as well as supervising staff when programs goals cross other programs that may not be under the supervisors direct control.

Statewide Linkage Oversight Committee
The purpose of the Statewide Linkage Oversight Committee (SLOC) is to monitor the planning and implementation activities of the project and to oversee the process and outcome evaluation. The SLOC addresses policy issues relevant to the project and planning for ongoing sustainability of Linkages.
